The Royal Naval Dockyard

dockyard

Though it no longer functions as a military facility, the beautifully preserved buildings of the Dockyard are strong reminders of the areas proud past and serve as fabulous venues for a host of new, visitor-friendly attractions.

Visit the Maritime Museum. Swim with the dolphins. Rent a jet-ski. Go fishing, diving, snorkeling, parasailing. Take in a movie or one of the numerous outdoor events that take place at Dockyard during the summer months. Visit the Bermuda Arts Centre at Dockyard and the Craft Market. Paint your own pot at Bermuda Clayworks. Refuel at one of four restaurants. You’ll find it all at The Royal Naval Dockyard.

Getting to Dockyard is almost as fun as being in Dockyard. Take a scenic bus ride or a 20-minute ferry ride from Hamilton. Be sure to ask for the Sea Express (or fast ferries).
