Bermuda is known for its spirit of benevolence and support that is reflected in its many charitable agencies that exist to help those in need. There are over 350 registered charities in Bermuda, many of which provide free and/or low cost social and/or supportive services, in addition to offering the opportunity for older citizens to volunteer.
