The Hospital Insurance Plan (HIP) is a basic health insurance plan offered by Government. If you are over the age of 65 and uninsured you may enroll with HIP for as little as $161.14 per month. HIP also offers seniors a prescription drug benefit of $1,200.

Private Insurance Companies
There are a number of private insurance companies that offer health insurance beyond retirement, often on a restricted basis. Bermuda does not have a comprehensive national health insurance plan for senior citizens.
