The Bahamas Reef Environment Education Foundation (BREEF) is an important part of the conservation and education of marine ecosystems in the Bahamas and the world. BREEF focuses on grass-roots programs in education, outreach, research, and policy and has a successful multi-pronged approach to protecting the marine environment.

Casuarina McKinney-Lambert was born and raised in the Bahamas. She has a strong passion for protecting the marine environment and sustaining the communities that depend on Bahamian waters.

This BUEI Talks series features discussions with individuals leading innovative Sustainable Ocean Strategies on their island homelands and will inspire Bermuda residents interested in safeguarding the health of the ocean surrounding our Island.
