Established in April 2016 and headquartered at Hamilton Parish, Environment and Natural resources is a department under Ministry of Environment and works to manage and preserve Bermudas environment. One of our primary aim is to educate people about conserving the natural resources for the future generations.

We maintain the Bermuda aquarium, museum, and zoo in partnership with the support charity and Bermuda zoological society. We work in collaboration with the department of planning to ensure that the environment remains world class keeping in mind the requirements of the residents and tourists. To ensure the all the resources are protected and preserved, our department is divided into four divisions for the smooth functioning i.e. Plant protection laboratory, Marine resources and Fisheries enforcement, Animal control and Veterinary services and Environmental engineering.
