Successfully operating since 1789, Bermuda's Department of Maritime Administration operates in accordance with the procedures listed in the ISO 9002: 2008 quality assurance manual.

 

The Department of Maritime Administration works under the Ministry of Transport and Regulatory Affairs and is responsible for providing all of the forms required to register a ship in Bermuda. Our operation is subject to general orders and financial instruction from the Bermuda government and our services encompass the registration, surveying, and certification of ships, safety and security management audits, issuing licenses and certificates, seafarers discharge books and identification cards.
