Ingham & Wilkinson Bldg, 129 Front Street, City of Hamilton, Bermuda, HM 12 | Directions
Description

Bermuda's Parole Board is responsible for granting permission to release island offenders related to circumstances such as travel, education, medical problems and situations requiring compassionate consideration.

When on parole, an offender must fill out an application to travel a minimum of 6 weeks in advance and submit if to their supervising officer.  The parole board is also responsible for granting and revoking parole orders. Probation officers make recommendations to the board, who then determines whether an offender can be released from prison under supervision.

We fall under the Ministry of Legal Affairs and decisions are made with the best interest of the community in mind.  Contact us with concerns or questions.
