The 2015 World Rugby Classic Bermuda is here, and having just kicked off on Sunday, November 8th, there’s still a lot more action in the week to come! For those unfamiliar with the event, it’s the second-largest annual sporting event on the island after Cup Match in terms of popularity, and brings together rugby legends from the world’s most famous teams to compete in friendly matches at National Stadium’s North Field. The eight main teams in competition are Canada, South Africa, USA, Argentina, France, Italy New Zealand and the Classic Lions (an amalgamation of players from Wales, Ireland, Scotland & England). Here’s what’s going on for the rest of the week:
Monday, November 9th:
U.S.A. versus South Africa - 7:15pm
New Zealand versus Italy - 8:30pm
Tuesday, November 10th:
This day provides a break in rugby the action for the competing teams to take part in the annual World Rugby Classic Golf Tournament at Riddell’s Bay. The main purpose of this is for the players to have fun while bonding with their fellow teammates and competitors over some friendly competition on the links!
Wednesday, November 11th (National Remembrance Day Holiday):
France versus Canada - 7:15pm
Argentina versus Classic Lions - 8:30pm
Thursday, November 12th:
Loser of U.S.A./South Africa game versus loser of New Zealand/Italy game - 7:15pm
Winner of U.S.A/South Africa game versus winner of New Zealand/Italy game - 8:30pm

Plate Final - 7:15pm
Classic Final - 8:30pm
North Field gates open at 5:45pm on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, and at 5:00pm on Saturday. You’re sure to have a blast at any night of this event, but the Finals night is known as being particularly legendary...have fun and be safe enjoying some world class rugby!
