Working under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Consumer Affairs is responsible for protecting and preserving the rights of consumers in Bermuda.
We handle a wide range of responsibilities, from market research to product regulation, business practice review and repair timeline monitoring and more. We also oversee the regulations in place for rental properties. We deal with consumer complaints and educate the public on their rights and responsibilities. We also work as a mediator should a dispute arise. We, however, do not provide legal advice and are not able to pursue complaints on your behalf.
We are dedicated to ensuring that Bermuda is safe from substandard business practices. We operate all weekdays from 9am until 5pm. Contact us for more information.
