In place to promote improvement in Bermuda's financial administration, The Office of the Auditor General (OAG) focuses primarily on performance auditing for the management of funds by government offices. We provide audit reports for each set of financial statements submitted in the Houe of Assembly.

Located in Reid Hall in Hamilton, the OAG serves Parliament by providing fact-based information and retains external audit firms for assistance when conducting audits. We also use financial statement audits to generate recommendations for the improvement of financial control and reporting. We submit our findings to the Department and Ministry and The House of Assembly, after which it is made public.
