Headquartered in Hamilton, The Human Rights Commission was established in 1982 to administer to human rights in Bermuda. We work for the benefit of all island citizens.
We are responsible for promoting community education and encouraging individuals to follow the principles of equality. We also help reduce barriers to equality in employment and access to services, as well as provide effective resolution of individual complaints involving fundamental and human rights, sexual harassment and disability.
We respect Bermuda's community as a whole and protect human rights for all. We will always work towards eliminating discrimination through advocacy, education and enforcement.
