The Department of the Office of the Tax Commissioner is located in Hamilton and can be contacted via phone and email.
We are primarily responsible for the administration of the collection of taxes and duties in accordance with the legislation in Bermuda. We adopt new technologies and educate taxpayers on how to pay taxes easily. We organize quarterly seminars on filing taxes and maintain the online tax filing system for the Government of Bermuda. All of our services are free, except for stamp duty fees. We retain all taxpayers’ registration information, administration files, returns, assessments, copies of documents and instruments supporting applications and correspondences.
