A registered non-profit organization, the Centre Against Abuse was registered in 1979. We provide services to adult male and female survivors of domestic abuse and sexual assault; and also, provide awareness training on these topics in the community.

We aim to promote awareness of this kind of abuse within the Bermudian population and to offer crisis services for physical, verbal and emotional and sexual assault. We provide safe shelter and support for those involved in abusive relationships. Our services are extended to both victims and witnesses and we run a 24-hour hotline service for reporting. Our full range of services includes counselling, anger management, safe house, pet therapy, court advocacy, community programmes and coping in the crisis.
