In conjunction with community organizations, the Bermuda Heart Foundation seeks to enhance heart health by:
Raising community awareness and offering prevention, rehabilitation, and educational services. Promoting better heart health by educating and supporting cardiac patients and their families. To save lives by providing access to hands-on early detection under the direction of world-renowned New York-Presbyterian Hospital and cardiologist Dr. Christopher Irobunda.
We believe that when the community understands the causes and symptoms of heart disease, as well as how to avoid and control it through lifestyle changes, the condition can be prevented and managed effectively. Then, and only then, will we see a reduction in the incidence of heart disease and heart-related disorders.
