All clients are also asked to wear personal safety gear, which may include homemade facial masks. URGENT SERVICES* Clients in need of other urgent services should contact the Clarien Service Center. If appropriate, we will arrange an appointment time for the emergency services outlined below at our Hamilton branch: Emergency cash withdrawal for deserving cases. Debit card pick up. Collection of tokens Wire and local bank to bank transfers for customers who do not have Clarien iBank access or have problems with tokens. Any other emergency needs. *All requests for the above emergency services will be reviewed and approved on a case-by-case bases. Clients will be asked to wear a facial mask during their appointed time. CHEQUE DEPOSITS Clarien clients in receipt of cheques and requiring proceeds: Debit cardholders are encouraged to use the closest Clarien ATM machine. Non-cardholders are encouraged to use the No-Wait depository. SAME-DAY PROCESSING AND IMPORTANT CUT-OFF TIMES Commercial Deposits, No-Wait and ATM Deposits will be processed same day ifreceived by: 1:00pm – Clarien Paget Branch and Raynor’s Gas Station [Warwick] 2:30pm – Clarien Main Branch [located at 19 Reid Street, Hamilton] LOCAL AND INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS All transfers, local payments and international wire transactions should be completed via Clarien iBank or iBank mobile. Clarien branch access without an appointment will be suspended during the Shelter in Place advisory period, from April 4 – 18, 2020. ATMs will be available, fees for accessing non-Clarien ATMs will be waived from April 4 – April 18. Daily cut-off times for No-Wait deposits is 2:45 pm. Any deposits received after that time will be processed the next business day. Electronic banking transactions are available via Clarien iBank and iBank Mobile from home or on mobile devices 24/7. Enrolling for iBank can be done remotely by calling the Client Services Centre on 296-6969. RELIEF INITIATIVES Clarien Bank Limited has announced that they will automatically defer personal loans and commercial loans for 3 months of payments for all residential mortgages. Any loan less than $2,000,000 will meet basic qualifying criteria. In response to a broad and deep Covid-19 pandemic financial impact on the community Clarien is changing its approach to how it provides relief to clients regarding their loan payment arrangements in order to more quickly deliver the financial support that many borrowers and households need,” a spokesperson said. Borrowers whose loan accounts are in good standing will automatically be granted a deferment of principal and interest payments effective from April 1, 2020 for three months [April, May and June] and will not have to make loan payments during this time. Clients who have already made Covid-19 relief requests to Clarien and those who are accepting of the three-month payment deferral on their loan do not need to take any action or contact the bank. It is important to note however that during the payment deferral period interest on the outstanding balance will be added to the loan principal balance and the term of the loan extended which will increase the total amount of interest paid over the full term of the loan.
