With the COVID-19 related closure of their restaurants, Ben and Katerina Smith, owners of Nonna’s Kitchen, shifted their thoughts from business as usual to how they could help others. Discussions on they could help with Myra Virgil of the Bermuda Community Foundation led to the plan for Nonna's staff to volunteer their time to produce meals for those most in need. Nonna's will now be delivering, Monday to Friday, to Focus Counseling Services so it can expand its meal services to twice a day. As well as on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday to a new food distribution site manned by the Seventh Day Adventist in St David’s.
