Ettrick Animal Hospital currently remains open, but will be operating with a number of social distancing measures in place.   The hospital will be open Monday through Saturday from 8am to 6pm, but with a closed door policy. To setup an appointment, please call 236-0007. Ettrik's Vets will determine on a case by case basis if the animal must be seen. They will not be able to see routine appointments, annual vaccinations or routine procedures. If you have recently travelled, are in quarantine/self isolation or have a member of your household in quarantine/self isolation you must inform reception when you call. If your pet must be seen we will advise on the safest way to see your pet. When you arrive for your appointment, clients are asked to remain in their car and to please call reception. A staff member will be with you shortly. Phone consultations along with medication renewals and food sales will be provided where appropriate. All clients who require food or medication please call ahead and they can then prepare and leave your items outside for you to collect and then pay over the phone. Emergency services are available even on curfew nights, . Please call 236-0007 to talk to someone on their team or to reach their out of hours service.   Ettrick's dedicated and hardworking team are here to help, but please be patient. Staff have been divided into smaller medical teams who will rotate their work schedules to minimise the impact should someone become unwell.
