Founded in 1894, BHS is an independent, non-profit day school in Pembroke, Bermuda. It provides a world-class education from the Early Years Programme (EYP) through Year 13.

EYP through Year 11: BHS is Bermuda's only all-girls school for primary and secondary education. Years 12 & 13 (Senior Years Programme): The Senior Years Programme (SYP) is co-educational, welcoming both young women and young men.

The school campus is located at 19 Richmond Road, Pembroke HM 08, Bermuda (near the city of Hamilton).

Primary (EYP – Year 6): Combines the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) with a strong STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) focus. Secondary (Years 7 – 11): An adapted English National Curriculum leading to I/GCSE examinations in Years 10 and 11. Senior Years Programme (Years 12 – 13 / IB1 – IB2): A flexible co-educational pre-university curriculum offering: International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme IB Individual Courses A Levels

BHS is accredited by international bodies including the Council of International Schools (CIS), the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO), and NEASC. It is also a member of the global Round Square network, enabling students to participate in international student exchanges, service projects, and leadership conferences worldwide.

While rolling admissions are offered based on space availability, the main entry points are: Early Years Programme (EYP / Age 4) Year 1 (Age 5) Year 7 (Secondary / Middle School) Year 12 (Senior Years Programme / IB1 / A Levels)

EYP & Year 1: Parents can register early (preference is given to siblings and alumni daughters registered before age two). In the year the child turns three, parents participate in an enrolment review. Years 2 – 11: Admission is based on previous school reports, conduct records, and entrance/placement assessments in English and Mathematics (plus subject tests for older students). Year 12 (SYP): Requires predicted I/GCSE grades (typically a minimum of 5 passes at grades A*–C / 9–4, including English and Math), transcripts, and a family interview.
