The community is invited to the Wilks Family Fundraiser, hosted by Two Fish in a Barrel, in support of a new commercial fishing vessel for the Wilks family. This vessel is essential to their livelihood and to the success of their newly opened café in Hamilton, which features fresh, locally caught seafood. The fundraiser will take place at Hunter's Lunasea, 10 Dundonald Street, on Sunday, August 31 from 12pm to 4pm. Guests can enjoy an afternoon filled with food, wine, a full bar, a silent auction, and fun for the whole family, including a bouncy castle and face painting. Part of the proceeds will be donated to the Annual Junior Fishing Tournament at Spanish Point Boat Club, held in honour of Niel Jones. It's a celebration of community, local fishing, and family, all are welcome!
