Since 1931

The Bermuda Civil Aviation Authority (BCAA), formally known as the Department of Civil Aviation was formed in 1931 and is responsible for both the regulation and safety oversight of all of the aircraft on the Bermuda Aircraft Registry, as well as aviation on island as a whole.

Our staff are highly competent and we offer a world class registry in compliance with the standards and practices of the International Civil Aviation Organization. We provide a detailed checklist that can be used a guide for registering an aircraft for Bermuda operational approval.
