October brings Bermuda together around a cause that touches families, friendships and workplaces across the island. Breast Cancer Awareness Month is a time to support those affected, make space for conversations about breast health and take part in the community efforts helping local cancer care.
From the Allshores awareness walk and a creative fundraiser at Gibbons Company to women’s wellness, pickleball and free group presentations, there are several ways to get involved.

The 30th annual Allshores Breast Cancer Awareness Walk brings survivors, families, caregivers, schools, businesses and supporters together for a shared show of support. Organised by Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre, the walk connects a familiar community tradition with the work of making cancer care accessible locally.
Funds raised help support the Centre’s prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment and patient-support services. Gather a group, register as a team or take part individually: the event offers a practical way to stand alongside people affected by breast cancer and support the services they rely on.
Bring a little imagination to your fundraising with Gibbons Company’s Glam Up the Bra competition. Participants can decorate a bra with an original design, using colour, texture and embellishments to create something personal and expressive.
All proceeds benefit Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre, with prizes available for the creations. Pick up an entry form from the Gibbons Company Lingerie Department and turn a hands-on project into a contribution to a local cause.

DayByDais Fitness brings women together for a morning of movement, conversation and connection. The Reset 2.0 includes a full-body workout, mat Pilates and a panel exploring women’s wellness, offering time to focus on physical and emotional wellbeing.
Part of the proceeds will be donated to Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre. For women looking for an active way to support the cause, the event combines a morning dedicated to wellbeing with a contribution to local cancer care.
