Located in the City of Hamilton, the Bermuda National Library was founded in 1839 by Governor William Reid. It falls under the Ministry of Social Development and Sports and is committed to conserving and preserving Bermudian culture and history.

 

Our services are available to residents and registered members. The library offers a digitally stored, archived repository of preserved works, as well as a variety of services, including adult and youth services, an online catalog, a collection of databases, Britannica online, outreach delivery service and a Teen Advisory Board. Our location boasts free WiFi, 5 Internet terminals, microfilm, a copier and more.
