The Employee Assistance Programme (EAP Bermuda) has functioned for the last 30 years with an in-person counseling model. In light of the COVID-19 situation, there will be a number of temporary service changes.     OPERATING HOURS   Effective immediately EAP will be providing telephone counselling and management consultations for their clients as they work from home.   You can continue to schedule appointments with their counselors by emailing info@eap.bm or by calling 292-9000 between the hours of 9:00 am to 5 p.m.   For after-hours assistance or to speak with their Executive Director, Mrs. Latisha Lister-Burgess, please call 505-4327.   For a psychiatric emergency or suicidal thoughts, please call the 24-hour Mental Health Crisis Line of the Mid-Atlantic Wellness Institute (MWI) at 239-1111.   EAP Bermuda will continue to be available to you and your staff and provide support during this time.     WELLNESS WEDNESDAY WEBINARS   EAP will be hosting a series of Wednesday Wellness Webinars which will cover a variety of wellness topics for their Member Companies to support you and your staff. Thanks to the Argus Thrive, Health & Wellness Programme for their support in bringing this free webinar series to the community.   The webinar series will continue to be available for purchase as a PDF and video series. She discussed tips on "Managing Stress during period of isolation" (Soundcloud).   EAP has also made available their April EAP Clips and Frontline Supervisor which contain helpful tips related to Coronavirus. There is also a Support Sheet that you can circulate to your staff on Managing Fear during Coronavirus.
