Argus Walks the Walk with The Centre on Philanthropy

It’s that time of year again! Argus Walks the Walk with The Centre on Philanthropy. Get Ready. Set. Walk.

About the event…

The Centre on Philanthropy, in partnership with the Argus Group, are excited to launch the fourth annual Argus Walks the Walk, the 5K charity walk where the participant selects which charity will benefit from their registration fee. Participants pay a $25 fee to register, of which $20 is donated to the charity of their choice and the remaining $5 supports VOLUNTEER.bm.

This unique community event takes place on Sunday, February 24th, 2013 starting in front of the Argus Building, at 14 Wesley Street, with a warm-up at 8:15am and the walk at 8:30am.

Have fun, raise money and win prizes…

* Prizes will be awarded to the largest corporate and youth teams.
* SHOW YOUR SPIRIT! Prizes will also be awarded to teams in the following categories: the best coordinated outfits, the best choreography, and the best cheer.

How can I get involved?

* To register to walk go to www.racedayworld.com.
* The first 1,000 registrants will receive a free t-shirt. *T-shirt collection will be held on Saturday, February 23rd from 10am to 2pm in the lobby of the Argus Building.

All Bermuda registered charities are eligible for donations (please visit The Centre’s nonprofit directory for the list of registered charities in Bermuda).
