Bermuda Sail Grand Prix

The opening event of SailGP Season 2 is set for Bermuda's Great Sound on April 24-25, which will provide the perfect venue to restart SailGP’s global racing championship and host pre-season training.

Established in 2018, SailGP features top teams from across the globe. Australia, Denmark, France, Great Britain, Japan, New Zealand, Spain and the United States will battle it out on the Great Sound in supercharged F50 catamarans at speeds exceeding 50 knots – nearly 60 mph/100kph.

For race fans, on-water spectator options are available, but Land based spectating at Cross Island has been cancelled due to Covid concerns.

Spectator vessels depart Albuoy's Point at 13:30 and return at 16:30.
