Under the distinguished patronage of Her Excellency, Governor Rena Lalgie, and Mr. Jacob Hawkins, the Bermuda Musical and Dramatic Society proudly presents "Cinderella: A Christmas Pantomime," directed by Kelvin Hastings-Smith, featuring a BMDS collaborative script and original music by James Burn.
In a modern twist, a frustrated mom urges tech-addicted children to embrace imagination. They craft a tale of a once-wealthy Baron facing hardships due to his stepdaughters' extravagance. Cinderella, or Briar Rose, endures her stepsisters' antics until the magical night of the prestigious Prince's Ball, where a Fairy Godmother and lively mice come to her aid. However, midnight brings a hasty departure from the Prince's embrace, leaving him determined to find the mysterious beauty.
Note: Child patrons require a purchased seat to prevent auditorium capacity exceeding limits, irrespective of age or sitting on an adult's lap.
