About this Event

The Marion Bermuda Race returns for its 50th anniversary edition, bringing sailors together for a 645-nautical-mile offshore race from Marion, Massachusetts, to Bermuda. The race starts on Friday, June 18, 2027, with the first warning signal at 12:00pm in Buzzards Bay. Competitors will race to the finish off St. David’s Head, Bermuda.
 
First held in 1977, the Marion Bermuda Race is built around Corinthian sailing, offshore seamanship and friendly competition. The anniversary programme also includes celebrations surrounding the race, culminating with the Awards Presentation and 50th Anniversary Gala Dinner on June 26, 2027, at the Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club in Bermuda.
