The 2026 Bermuda National and Open Optimist Championship takes place from Friday, 13 November to Sunday, 15 November 2026, at Sandys Boat Club in Sandys Parish, Bermuda.
Hosted by Sandys Boat Club, with the endorsement of the Bermuda Sailing Association and under the authority of the Bermuda Optimist Dinghy Association (BODA), this three-day youth sailing regatta brings together Optimist dinghy sailors for competitive racing on Bermuda's waters.
The championship features Championship and Green Fleet racing, providing opportunities for young sailors at different stages of competitive development. The programme includes competitor briefings, scheduled races, a registration dinner and a closing prize-giving ceremony.
13 November 2026 – 15 November 2026
- Friday, 13 November: 9:00am competitor briefing; 10:55am first Championship Fleet warning
- Saturday, 14 November: 9:00am Championship Fleet briefing; 9:45am Green Fleet briefing
- Sunday, 15 November: Same morning briefing schedule; prize-giving scheduled for 5:30pm or following protests
