Road Safety Week - Open Event

The Bermuda Road Safety Council will be hosting a series of events next week, all geared towards promoting responsible driving habits. Road Safety Week is aimed at transforming the behaviors of motorists who tend to drive recklessly.With over 1,000 collisions occurring on the island's roads annually since 2021, averaging about three per day, and with fatalities typically hitting double digits each year, the need for such initiatives is urgent.

On Tuesday, May 7th, a presentation will feature guest speakers, road safety demonstrations, vendors, and stakeholder booths. This event will take place at City Hall between 12 pm and 2 pm.

This event is open to all members of the community — drivers, pedestrians, cyclists, students, and concerned citizens. Whether you're a seasoned driver or a first-time driver, there's something for everyone to learn and contribute. Let's work together to make our roads safer and protect lives.
