City of Hamilton’s Rockin’ Around the City Tree

The Christmas season gets its first big glow as Hamilton gathers around the City Hall tree.

Rockin’ Around the City Tree takes place on Friday, November 27, 2026, from 6:30–9pm outside City Hall, 17 Church Street. The free community celebration combines the annual tree lighting with live festive performances and photos with Santa.

For families, it’s a chance to begin the season with an evening the children can look forward to. For friends finishing the working week, it’s an easy reason to meet in town and enjoy the celebrations together.

With music, Christmas lights and Santa’s arrival, this is a cheerful way to trade the Friday routine for something festive.
