Gombeys in the City

Experience the colour, rhythm and energy of Bermudian culture with Gombeys in the City, taking place every Saturday from August 29 through September 26, 2026. From 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM, Front Street comes alive with traditional Gombey dancing, drumming and distinctive costumes in the heart of Hamilton.

Held in front of the Bermuda marquee sign, the weekly performances showcase local troupes including Places Gombey Troupe, Phoenix Gombey Troupe, Evolution Gombey Troupe and Warwick Gombey Troupe. Each performance offers residents and visitors an accessible way to experience one of Bermuda's most recognisable cultural traditions.

Guests can enjoy the energetic performance and take advantage of photo opportunities with the Gombey performers afterwards, making this free Saturday experience an engaging addition to a day in Hamilton.
